this stuff may not all be new, but i like it. you might like it too.
I had the chance to see Yeasayer play the Commodore in Vancouver earlier this year, and it was definitely one of my favourite performances of 2010. The show was a lot of fun. Sleigh Bells opened, and didn’t deliver as I would have hoped, but Yeasayer was a good time. If you haven’t heard this album, give it a go. I’d lump Yeasayer into the 80’s-rebirth style bands that seem to be cropping up. The disc is a good listen from end to end, which unfortunately isn’t too common it seems with LP releases. This certainly has depth to it.
